This is not a treatise on all that is wrong with technology. I want to make a simple point to those who have placed too much faith in technology. I don’t desire the cessation of technology use, I want us all to think carefully about how/why we use technology & how those technologies may affect us – personally, publicly, for better & for worse. Technology doesn’t scare me, our unwillingness to engage in critical discourse about technology does. Is technology the next “emperor with no clothes” that must be dethroned?
