Here is a related plug for another online resource. I recently took over the editorship of the Iowa Science Teacher Journal. This journal, while providing great activities for all levels of science instruction, also tries to make explicit what teachers must DO to make these activities work. Too often educators look for magic activities or strategies and forget about how important the teacher is in making any activity work. The issue just published focuses on reflecting on practice and how to improve practice. This concept is a little different for the journal, but is still useful.
