Feedburner – one more thing to figure out.

So I was reading a post by Scott McLeod about his feedburner stats.  I decided to check out feedburner in greater detail and I think I have it set up right.  So if you have already subscribed to this blog in a feeder, you will get some added functionality if you subscribe using this feed.

This post is to test out some of the feedburner features, but also to encourage you to subscribe using the new feed so I might be able to track my numbers….but as John Spencer has lamented, that might not be a good thing :)

But is feedburner really that necessary? I remember using it for blogs years ago but now by using WordPress I didn’t think it was something I needed to set up. Am I wrong?

  2. If you’re adjusting how your blog will look in RSS readers, can you please make it so I can read the entire post in RSS, instead of just the summary? Please?
